It all started 6 years ago when my daughters started artistic roller skating and ballet. Only then I realized that in Faro or near, we had no shops or easy access to these specific clothes.

Having sewing as a hobby since I can remember, I started making their dresses and ballet tutus and because of that , their friends started asking me to make for them as well.

Three years ago, when the bank I worked for 19 years started a plan to shorten on staff, I realized it was time to change the life I was (not) having and realized it was time to start taking care of my family. Pontas e Rodas is my wellbeing; it’s working in what I love and having time for all the (big) small things in life: helping my girls with their home-works, take Pepper and Bob for a walk, have lunch with parents and sit in the couch with hubby by the end of the day…

Long story short

I consider myself a perfectionist and meticulous person and when someone challenges me with a project I have never seen before it’s like the best present ever !!

But when Pontas e Rodas came to my mind, I had no specific idea on which area it would grow, it was supposed to work with the challenges that people would ask me… so, when I registered as a brand, I chose the biggest variety of sewn products, from dresses to all kinds of gymnastics and sports, as well as bags and umbrellas, pet and animal clothes, blankets, leaches… Pontas e Rodas can be used in everything that can be seen!
